Um.....well, my name is Tal, and I'm in high school. I greatly enjoy reading, writing, and listening to music. I love Fullmetal Alchemist (both the manga and television series) and the Hellsing manga, and I have recently fallen in love with Phantom of the Opera (play, not the movie), and I enjoy plays such as this and Wicked. I would like to be good at singing and playing piano (as if that will ever happen *rolls eyes*), but know that I sing and play abysmally. My heroes are my sister Mindy, my brother Justin, Amanda Palmer, Gary Gygax, Danny Elfman, Tim Burton, Gerard Way, and JRR Tolkien. I enjoy almost all music (aside from rap, R&B, and some pop/hiphop), even the "screaming emo" music that my friends all hate, but specifically the following artists: The Dresden Dolls (mostly Amanda Palmer) are 1st,My Chemical Romance is 2nd, and Oingo Boingo come in close at 3rd! I enjoy movies (though not as much as some), and my favorites are the Princess Bride (a comedy), Labyrinth (that really old, cheesy movie that has David Bowie, who is awesome, in it), Nightmare Before Christmas, Galaxy Quest (another comedy), and (the most recent addition to this list!) Sweeney Todd. I refuse to miss episodes from Supernatural, Pushing Daisies, Heroes, and Bones. However, I also enjoy House, NCIS, Chuck, So You Think You Can Dance (i am embarassed to admit), and Mythbusters. I have too many "favorite" books to count, but I'll narrow it down---by series name! My favorites are The Belgariad by David Eddings, JRR Tolkien's Work, books by Robin Hobb, His Dark Materials by Phillip Pullman, and the Chanters of Tremaris by Kate Constable. And, of course, the Dresden Dolls Companion and the Virginia Companion, both released by the Dresden Dolls!
